I want to let you know just a little bit about my process as you begin to look through my site.

I combine artistic license in each painting I create, with the theme and desired colors relayed by my collector who commissions me. Starting with those basic concepts for the piece, I create an idea board from which to refer throughout the process, mainly for inspiration.

Building with thoughtful layers of color and texture with inks, acrylics, mark making and creative use of spray paint along with my own hand-made collage papers, sketch work and oil paint, you will most typically see a nod to realism combined with the emotional qualities of abstract art. With this method I find pleasure in the use of bold colors, atmospheric resting spaces and brush strokes coupled with divine inspiration to complete a piece.
