Live Wedding or Event Painting will elevate your wedding or other special day with a truly unique, immersive experience. As a mixed media artist I will create a piece that speaks to you for a lifetime, not just about your ceremony, but incorporating your lives. At an interview we, together, will discover and plot the backdrop for an archival piece and add to it the beauty of the wedding day.

Bringing mixed media painting to the wedding world, I will transform cherished moments into an heirloom. Imagine a piece celebrating life with unique additions- special dates, symbols, wedding vows, the meaning of your names, a memento of the “something old,new,borrowed,blue” tradition, your handprints, glistening metal leaf, or other favorite secret codes or symbolism- all collaged in, prior to the live painting experience on celebration day.

My packages are scaled by canvas size and created on gallery wrapped canvas, meticulously finalized in the studio and delivered ready to hang within 3 months of the wedding/event day. Each original piece includes a certificate of authenticity.

Artistic license should be expected as the results will not be traditional portraiture or realism. As an artist, I paint in a lyrical and expressive abstraction with a nod toward realism. The mood my artwork evokes is often rooted in nature, celebration or emotion and serves to memorialize special moments leading up to and including the special day. Savings for paying in full are $500 up to $2000 depending on the package chosen, as reflected in the price commparison below. The pricing shown includes pre-ceremony preparation and up to 2 hours of live ceremony painting experience, and the finished, ready-to-hang original piece* It also includes one-time trip fee covering up to 100 RT ground miles to and from venue. Artist will travel to any other locations by arrangement for travel and reasonable accomodations.

All paintings include a certificate of authenticity and local delivery within approximately 10 to 12 weeks following the event, as details, cure time and varnishing will be required post event. Shipping will be at the expense of customer.

The ‘Legacy’ package includes**: original, certificate of authenticity, (2) 8×10 matted prints of the original, local white glove delivery*, installation, and a gift certificate for $200 toward a commissioned piece of 18x20” minimum. (perfect for an anniversary celebration commission.) This package also includes a choice of reception options.

Note: Reception Option services can be added to any smaller package upon request.

Matted 8x10 Prints for Selected Family Members $25 each

Reception Option 1: Special Reception Painting 16x20 $850. (IF ADDED TO ONE OF THE 4 WEDDING PAINTING PACKAGES you save $100 on the painting)

This package includes a painting, painted from a photo of bride’s bouquet. This is a 2nd original (acrylic) painting that will become the thank you card for guests. This will be photographed at reception and finished in studio so guests are surprised when they receive it in print form. Customer will retain original. Artist will provide and mail up to (50) 5x7” prints ($380 value) and mail them if guest addresses are provided- otherwise delivered to customer within about 30 days of wedding.

If purchased as the ONLY service, and you want it painted at your wedding the cost is $1300 if paid in full at booking, or $1400 if two payments, and this piece will be painted during your reception only, unless special arrangements are made.

Reception Option 2: Faceless Guest Sketches from photos. $350 if added on to one of the first 2 canvas size options above.

If this service is the only service chosen it is $500 flat fee** and includes 3 hours. Additional time may be added by arrangement. Trip Fee** to be added.

Artist will snap photos of guests individually and will complete a sketch of each and finish in watercolor and leave for guests to pick up. Any that are not finished and handed out at the event will be mailed to customer upon completion with thumbnails of photos. Arrangements discussed at booking for unforseen scenerios.

Gift Certificates are available and can be used toward a commissioned painting or event. (great option to include in your registry.)
